What is TEF?
TEF (Test dEvaluation du Français) is an exam of the CCIP (Chamber of Commerce and Industries of Paris) which tests the candidate's proficiency in the French language. In October 2002, an agreement was signed between the Canadian High Commission and the network of the Alliances Françaises.
Why take the test?
- Study
All students (except those of French origin) who wish to evaluate their competence in French, and obtain a recognized attestation by the French Ministry of National Education. This especially is for all students who seek admission in French universities. Any student who obtains a level 5 in the written expression of the TEF examination will be allowed to join a French University in the premier cycle Every working person who needs to prove his level in French. Every person who wishes to go to Canada either for higher studies or job purposes.
